Meet Michael Spotts, the USCSDA’s newly elected national secretary. Michael has been involved in field trials for about 10 years. His love of trials began after buying an English setter from friend Bob Watts, who invited him to a trial. Michael was hooked; though his love of bird dogs had begun much earlier when he hunted Pennsylvania grouse and pheasants over his father’s German shorthaired pointers. He has been a competitive participant in trials, having earned numerous placements and winning several championships.
Michael is on the Board of Directors of the Grand National Grouse Club, President of the Pennsylvania Grouse Club, and President of the West Branch Bird Dog Club. He enjoys the organizing and promoting of field trials. He looks forward to serving the U.S. Complete in this position and is experienced and qualified for all of the duties involved.
Michael lives in Bloomsburg, PA, with his wife and two young children.
